Second phase of Samsung’s Android Pie beta goes live in the UK

With Android P having been confirmed as Pie way back in August, Samsung is finally getting round to unveiling the second phase of its One UI beta program for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in the UK. Users will be able to register for the Pie beta via the Samsung Members app on their handset.

Once registered on the beta program, users will be able to download the beta firmware that carries build number G960FXXU2ZRKL for the Galaxy S9 and G965FXXU2ZRKL for the larger Galaxy S9+. With slots on the beta program likely to be limited in number, it’s probably better to register sooner rather than later if you want to take part. Other countries such as China, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, and India are confirmed to take part in the second phase of the Pie beta program.

Samsung briefly opened up the Galaxy Note 9 One UI beta program in the US earlier today, so it would seem that it won’t be long until it’s live.

Are you looking forward to testing Samsung’s new One UI on your Galaxy S9, S9+, or Note 9? Let us know in the comments below about your experience with the beta firmware.
